In 1999, Westmill’s spirit of innovation was recognized with our very first patent—for articulating door hardware that redefined safety and accessibility in veneer dryers. A quarter-century later, that breakthrough continues to stand the test of time, with more than 8,000 sets still trusted in mills across North America.
As Westmill grows in size and strength, we expand our team and forge exclusive partnerships with leading U.S. product lines like Globe, Sweed, and COE—building a foundation for greater innovation, collaboration, and impact across Canada.
In a groundbreaking achievement, Westmill installs the industry’s first-ever retrofit stainless steel insulated dryer floor at Evans Forest Products in Golden, BC—pioneering a new standard in efficiency, innovation, and industry leadership.
Westmill takes its vision beyond borders, entering the U.S. market with its first location in 2002 and a second in 2008. From these ambitious beginnings, the company has grown to three strategic warehouses across North America, bringing innovation and excellence to an ever-expanding horizon.
